How to Join Girl Scouts

Membership is open to all girls ages 5 - 17 and to all adults who promise to live by the Girl Scout Law. Annual dues for both girl and adult members is $10. Girls may join a troop or become individual members ("Juliettes") and participate in council activities of their choice.

Girl Scout Age Levels:

Daisy Girl Scout Kindergarten
Brownie Girl Scout 1st-3rd Grades
Junior Girl Scout 3rd-6th Grades
Cadette Girl Scouts 6th-9th Grades
Senior Girl Scouts 9th-10th Grades

Our Daisy Troop is from Hewitt Texas and a part of the Bluebonnet Council. We consist of 9 5&6 year old little girls. We meet every other Thursday at 6 pm. We have earned our promise center and had our Investiture Ceremony for that. We have earned 3 petals so far and are working on more.

Becoming a Member

To become a Daisy Girl Scout You must be in kindergarten or not older then 6 years. You must be a girl who is ready to have fun and make new friends!

Troop News

Last Thursday, March 18th, we had our troop picture taken.  Ms. Jessica and Ms. Renee took our Pictures with a digital and a regular camera.  Next meeting we will be able to see the pictures and pick the ones we want.  Also, during the meeting, Kylyn was able to stand up in front of the entire toop and leaders and say her GS promise.  She earned her promise center for that as well as her red learning petal.  We are very proud of her for that.  She wa also able to get the petals she has earned prior to that but could not get because of not earning her promis center.  She is all caught up now.
 We come up with ways the Daisies that miss meetings can earn their missed petals.  Our Daisy Scouts do not earn petals unless it's with the troop or a troop sponsored event.
